I studied graphic design at Olivet Nazarene University, earning my degree in 2015. As a student, I worked for the University’s Department of Marketing Communications as both a photographer and designer, and for the Office of Student Development as a photographer for Life at Olivet, the social media presence of the Associated Student Council of the university.
After graduating, I started working as a production artist at MX, one of the largest business-to-business marketing agencies in the United States. During my time at MX, I’ve learned a ton about how to design for a multitude of different audiences and how to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tension environment.
Over the years, I’ve worked my way up from Production Artist to Junior Art Director, gathering new experiences and new skills that have made me who I am not just as a professional but as a person. I’ve learned a lot in my time at MX, but one of the most important skills I’ve honed is the ability to keep my cool under the most pressing timelines, working on the biggest projects, and under the highest pressures. With that skill, a creative mindset, and technical expertise, I’m prepared for whatever’s coming next.
